What you need to keep in mind now is that the Edelbrock heads are only legal on the 318, 383 and 440 in the Dart for '68 and '69....the 340 can only use the "iron" head replacement.....the 318 taken out to max specs is around 330 cubes and looks as good or better than the 340 package w/Edelbrock heads in SS

I would sure think about a 383". That thing of Mike Cotten's is very fast.
