I may be out of line on this one but ...that appears to be a 1963 Plymouth updated with a '65 Plymouth front clip.

If anyone is interested in 1:18 diecast replicas of many of these historic rides, check them out at www.supercar1.com ,, theres also a newly issued run of some of Bill Jenkin's cars. I picked up a Melrose Missle last year, before they sold out and the quality is amazing,, even got driver, Cecil Yother to sign the roof.

The rules were like that at Sunset up until this past October when Alex passed away. He will be greatly missed.

Various sources indicate H&M built between eight and fifteen 1965 A/FX Mustangs, the consensus seems to be ten. As this point, the true number is anyone's guess. There may have been other cars built by individual teams, possibly accounting for the production number discrepancies.
From what I've read it seems some were built with the 427 wedge & sohc engines and the exact production numbers are unknown...read more info here.

I wonder if I'm distantly related to Dave Strickler? There is a Strickler from York in my family tree, but it's way back in the 1800s. I wonder if anyone has researched his family tree that I can download the GEDCOM? Almost everyone in York is related to me if there family has been there any length of time. My family has been there since the 1700s. Most are still there, only a handful of us has escaped the gravitational pull of York.
