I think you can use normal gaskets if the O rings are not there

Rory,
Take your housing that has the grove in it, you should be able to match up the diameter and O-ring size at a hardware store. You will probably have to glue the O-ring in the groove to keep from cutting it, when you install it. The original water pump was a reverse rotation due to the serpentine belt rotating the pump backwards, compared to a conventional V-belt drive system. Sean

If you use permatex Ultra Gray to seal it, you won't have any problems. Haven't used O rings with my pumps in years

Rory..."H"... If you get the pump to me, I can get you the o-rings from a supplier in Richmond. We use them for all our industrial sealing solutions. Maurice ("TFC").
