Nice....I grew up drooling over cars like that!
Nothing nicer than a '61 Ventura or a '62 like yours. Tri-Power 389 or even a nice 421.....Stick or Auto... 12.20's in that car would be fun...

Just GREAT to see an early 60's GM,,, Chevy or Pontiac in particular, posted here ! !
Seems like it's only the Mopars ( there's no Fords either ? ) that get "air time" from the true beginning of the muscle car era. If it's OK, I'll save a couple of those pictures on my computer.

My best trap speed is 108.90 with 12.15 best... 1.578 60ft best with avg of 1.59-1.60 in warmer weather... the engine is .030 TRWs(cast rods) with unported #48('69 400/330hp heads) 800dbl pump, Edelbrock RPM intake, 3 tube headers with extensions,400 turbo and 3.90 gear... havent weighed it since it had 389 and 4spd hydramatic in it...weighed 4170 then...still over 4000, i'd say... I love your '62 Chevy...awesome!

Brent, are you Pontiac guys like us Ford guys and all know each other? I deliver to a guy named Gene Gabbard that has a Super Duty looking Catalina? I think and a Ventura that looks like a stocker. They run at Muncie also. They live down the road from the Mckinney's. All are nice Pontiacs. Dig your cars by the way.
