There was rumor floating around Da Grove about 20 years ago that the the Widowmaker Dart, which was no longer associated with Jim Wick, had been destroyed in a shop fire and that the badly deformed remains had been crushed in a Milwaukee area salvage yard. I did not witness any of this but I definitely recall the story.

The WidowMaker was a partnership with Jim Wick and Jim Jezwinski of Fond Du Lac and Oshkosh, Wisconsin respectively. In that picture the MatchMaker Coronet of Jim Wick is driven by Tim Mayhew and Jim Jezwinski was in the Dart. Last we heard the Dart is in Illinois and was not for sale. We inquired about it years ago.

Was it not this car that was dipped (acid).???? That is what I've been lead to believe over the years. That car later rotted to oblivion because it wasn't naurtralized properly. Can someone here confirm or deny that info????
