Photo of Terry Fritch's rear twin rear engine dragster, not sure if he ran this at Cornhusker, this was the only one I could find on the internet.

My dad (Danny Hall) raced at Cornhusker way back when. He raced a forest green 1970 Dodge Challenger and I believe an old Plymouth Satelite. I actually have some very grainy video footage from the track. Does anyone have event data or placings from individual weekend meets? He used to have a book with time slips in it, but it would be great if there was someone else who had that info. If anyone is interested, I can post the video footage that I have. Thanks!

Please post your videos and any photos that you have on here. Also if you would like, we also have a cornhusker raceway page on facebook, you can also place your videos and photos on there for all to see and enjoy. There is a post of the 72, or 73 points meet with all the class winners, I think its on the facebook site, will also post it on here . Forgot to ask did your dad have anything on the side of the car, like his name or maybe he had a name for the cars, it makes it easier to find the photos if they had stuff like this painted on the car Last edited by cruiznlow; 05-26-2014 at 11:42 AM. I was sent a few photos of the H&F Express 69 Chevelle, racing at Cornhusker. The car belonged to Gary Hansen and dennis Fitch. The first photo is of Gary hansen getting a trophy and money for his class win. Second photo is car at the starting line

Thanks for posting the photos......Just a slight correction.....Denny Fitch owned the car....I drove it......Denny made the car "fly".....I was hard on parts.....LOL...I seemed to think I should launch at 6 grand.... The photo with the trophy and check was for a Super Stock win at Cornhusker Raceway Park......we beat the 65 Chevelle of Eddie Rezac in the final.... The car was a rocket ship....with a better transmission, other than a 2.54 low gear Muncie, and a lower low gear, who knows how fast it would have been????? The car ran a huge MPH for the time.

Got some really cool news. Just found out that a car that was thought to be gone forever has resurfaced. The TENSION 57, raced by Don Stevenson in the mid to late 60s. Is in Denision Iowa. Tony Beam of Denision has had the car for the better part of 10 year's. however he only found out about the history of his car a short time ago. He was in the process of restoring the car to stock condition but he has shifted direction and the car will be restored to as raced in the late 60s. Great news TENSION will be at Old Geezers show & go next weekend. It will not be finished but will be in the show. Also got to chat with the owner of Inbomber 57, he might be interested in bringing back the car for next years Geezers, This would be awesome to see both cars go down the track side by side
