Sorry, I can't do it. I hardly remember it. It seems I drove it one day for some guy; and yes it was at Dunkirk. Can't remember much about it. Where, in Gods name, did you get this picture ??????????

We went to East Haddem CT to set the Nat. record; and Jere converted his 56 to F/S to also get the record. We did get the record, and also beat Jere in Eliminations. Ralph Truppi and Tom Kling of Truppi and Kling fame were, also there in their 58 348" F/S and after seeing the Bad Banana, they sold that car and built the '57 wagon "Terrible Tangerine" car.
I'm glad to hear that Jere is still around and kicking. I would love to know how to reach him. Please let me know on my e-address colbertdave13@gmail.com
First picture I've seen of him with a cigarette while racing,,, think that short fella from Malvern, Penn used to smoke a little too. The only one I can remember famous for that habit was Landy and his cigars,,, you guys remember any others??

They also have a good stock of flanges, collectors and tubing.
Bought a set of headers for the Chevelle last year...going to follow up with an order for some additional pieces soon. Not only can they make the Nostalgia stuff...they can make headers for most applications and always had an emphasis on the class-type stuff...and also they make some "engine-swap" headers as well.

But I would call first...I thought they were going to sell some of their tooling...HEY...if you're in the market for some new headers...or even some pieces...give them a SHOUT ! I'm sure they would appreciate that!

I've swapped emails with Jere, but not talked to him on the phone. Last we spoke on the phone, Jere was still going to sell all the pieces in weld up kits, he just wasn't going to sell complete finished headers.

I don't know that he ever found anyone who would buy enough of the business for him to sell it. He was always going to keep the tubing bender and sell pre-bent tubing and parts to the buyer of the jigs and other property.

Jere Stahl is a very interesting person for sure.

If you look up the word character and I think you will see a picture of him.

He marches to the beat of a different drummer for sure.

Opinionated would be putting it in a nice way.

I remember when Dick Moroso went to work for him in the mid 60's and that lasted about 1 1/2 to 2 years before they split.
