LOL, don't laugh, our original "Red Alert" '70 LS6 Chevelle has fiber optics, rear defrost, power windows, console, etc...decked out for a friggin' race car. She's heavy, but she can still get 'em off the ground...
You really need an Alf Wiebe rear suspension......Way to much chassis twist.....

But the ladies love it!

We still have the Dick Gazan setup (that was later bought by Morrison?) on the car that Bill Stephensen had Dick install back in the late '80s/early '90s when he was match racing it regularly. I think that shot is before we put the new shocks on it, but it still has a little twist to it...we've checked and re-checked the rear setup, and it still twists a little? Our Nova leaves straight as a string, but not the Chevelle...!

I built engines for a racer who posts on here.....Ed Bigley....

He had a '68 Chevelle and it had Alf Wiebe rear suspension.....http://classracer.com/classforum/alb...pictureid=5258

The car went in the 9's on a small tire. It did big wheelstands on every pass on a decent starting line and there was no twisting of the front end.....

I looked at the Wiebe bars and they are very trick.......I am not sure if he still makes and sells them though....
