It may not change anything as far as flash stall speed goes.

I know this is apples to oranges but when I went from a 1.82 low gear to a 2.08 in my powerglide the "stall" changed none.

Very little is correct.
I'd worry more about the 400 Turbo if you want to go fast with a SBC.
