I bracket raced a little at NY National on LI (1969 then 1977-79).Would like to go back and race 4 abreast like they did back then. 2 nd
choice York US 30.

Lions Dragstrip would be first choice, it was before my time.
I did make some pass's at Orange County Raceway in a street car back in the late 70's. Bought my 1973 340 Duster stock eliminator car the week after the last race at OCIR so it got raced at Famoso, Pomona (once) and the old Vegas track.

Dover Drag Strip, because it is where I made my first trip down the quarter mile.
As far as "historic" tracks, it would be York. |

Hands down York US 30 Dragway. At the time a track that was way ahead of it's time. A whole mountain of history with this track.

That's the one thing we can't do.I do miss that era,racing and otherwise.Life really was simpler then.
