No John, I'm gonna order some more Hoosier radials. The plot thickens however. I thought it was a wire to the solenoid + post not supposed to be there but now after the smoke came out of the tfi harness I've hooked it to, and not to the solenoid, and the car cranks over both ways. Could something in the harness have been somehow been grounding, then after the smoke cleared[ literally] it's ok? I ran some tests and it looks like the module is ok? and the harness that plugs to the distrib seems ok too. I haven't tried to start it because theres a lot disconnected right now.I also checked all the fuses except the Holley commander and they are fine. Any Ford guys got an Idea on the TFI or spout?

The smoke is built into the electronics from the factory. You should not release the smoke! Some have tried to inject the smoke back in after it's released but seldom works.

If you decide to try putting the smoke back in, here's the part you need:

Replacement smoke can easily be installed in hard to reach spots with a smoke bender. Any Boy Scout can tell you where to get one !!

The replacement smoke works great on ribs, chicken, and fish.
