Thats why I added a 2nd driver to the mix driving a mustang!
BTW. If i hit a big lotto I would'nt care less how much HP it would bring on these cars as I would just unload them for 30 cents on the dollar if thats all they would bring! On second thoughts I would just donate them to a good charity to auction off!! Lord knows I would need a good tax right off!! |

Maybe someone will hit the lottery and build an early car to run out the back instead of "Protecting". I could be wrong but as of yet I haven't heard of one new car losing water to turn up light on the scales.

I have been know to not run as fast as I can. But it never had anything to do with my personal combo. It has been to encourage and to allow others to come into the class. I personally wish we could have at least some go fast races. Maybe Pomona, Gainesville, and Indy. But NHRA would have to enforce the rules to the max. This would allow the ahfs to work. The other thing would be To take out the 1000' clocks during competition at all events.

DP Owners take a look at this, i saw one at PRI.
http://www.pitpal.com/products/Hood_Easel-1333-63.html Pretty sweet deal to keep your DP hood from becoming a pit mat or a kite. See you at the races, Wayne Kerr |

#40 is owned by Don Baierl and his son Denny...the car is still "in process" and the plan is to start running Stock Eliminator with it this summer.
Don also runs NS/S with a '64 aluminum nose Hemi Dodge, and they also own a Mopar restoration and performance business. |

I see Larry Smith is racing at Bradenton this weekend with his new DragPak (which he bought from one of my dealers in WV). Larry is the brother of Eddie Smith (wv hemi fame).
I was told that it is #24 .... but I see that number belongs to the Wertmans. (so... I'll have to find out later what number it really is).

Tom the car that Larry Smith is driving is listed as a 2010. The #24 that you are looking at is a 2009. That may explain the confusion.
