Don't use the cheap plastic burette... they are all over the place. I had a local guy back checking me with one and raising HE** because I made the CC's way to large.. I knew how close to the spec I had done his heads....so I told him to bring his cheap plastic Burette to the shop.
Took mine (tool room calibrated by USGovt) and poured 100 CC out of it into his.
Sure it was off a whoping 2.7 cc's. He sent that one back and bought another that was off 3.2 CC's He just left it at the shop and doesn't back check what I do any more. If your buddies with any NHRA Teck guys just ask them to check yours... The guys I know in Div 4 were glad to do that..
