When you fill out the tech card it asks who the owner and driver are. Also who does the payout go to and what is the social security number.

I believe the companies paying contingency will pay whoever's name is on the contingency form.

It's a no-no but decals are routinely added as rounds progress.
If one is caught doing it the penalty is supposed to be no contingency form filled out!

Several people in IHRA got busted for adding decals over the years. In fact, they recently announced that it is mandatory for final round competitors to get their pics taken in the winner's circle to help in confirmation. Don't know how strict NHRA is.

Now if someone can only MAKE all contingency sponsors hold up their end of the contract!
