I have used some of the 10 element (paddle)diodes in some applications where I saw some abnormal wear on the 5 element(paddle) but these are in some pretty hi HP and Torque applications. Overall I have had pretty good luck with both types and have not experienced any catastrophic failure as of yet. (knock on wood). Thanks for your input. |

Thanks for the info. I have a SS converter behind a SBC and now putting 250 of N2O on it and I already knew what was going to happen (increased starting line stall 900 rpm's) and is a 8 inch. So now I have a little more knowledge and will look into a 10 instead of trying to tighten the 8 inch to make work.
