Chris If you can make it come on down to the Orlando points meet the week before Gainesville National event There is testing both before the event and the day after the points races they open for testing.
Pomona is an awful long haul. If you have to miss one thats the one that hurts the least.
I'm going to miss the Bradenton points meet, because my trailer brakes just cost me $1100. And I've got to draw the line somewhere. It's only one race that is 450 miles oneway for me. So if I have to miss one this is the one. I make it to the Gainesville points meet the following week.

Hell, I just did my trailer brakes....and everyting else....where are you, my truck and trailer are mobile.......

Seattle and Topeka were the only ones I wanted to miss....now I have to make one or both. Depending on how were doing....

Im thinking of just renting a place down here for a couple months and run home to load out for a couple month haul and doing as you and others have suggested, I have now about 4 solid offers of "whatever you need from our shop" I MAY, be careful if you offer, I MAY take yall up on that.

Cheers

Time to listen to hippie music (Richie Havens) and catch a few hours of sleep after I rememorize the DP manual .....

Anyone got a house for rent down here ?

Im still in Atlanta, Im going to pickup the new motor tommorow.

Stanton and Mopar have been top notch on top of it and Im 1000% happy.

They were on top of it way faster than I ever could have expected or hoped for, very , very happy.

It happened , it look like it was a simple communications issue nothing more. The DP program has been 2 years in the making so its understandable for certain, what more important though is everyone including the Owners, Mopar, etc are all on the same page and the program can move forward with avengance.

We will be TRYING for Bradeton, and then the (now Atlanta, Points meet) and then Gatornats, all down this way in the next month.....

May just be easier to stay down here, in a way the westward trek was way too short timed.

So were still here....

Art, well be there
John, Dont worry wont post the #, (me and my dad got a great laugh out of your post, I needed that)
And to everyone else....thanks

p.s. Typing these posts didnt push Pomona out, other things did, some because of timing cuts on our part.....you wont see me stop.........

But I can "grade" up here and get some seat time in the car....thats important I can now really wring it out.

Will do, I also asked everyone to remove it.

We were very busy today.

I apologize and tried to correct it, I was pissed, and I called you about it last night.

Pomona may not have been a realistic goal for us, but there was an outside chance to make it, and as long as there was a chance, we had to try to make it.

Two years ago, none of this would have even been possible. I won't go into the personal reasons why it wouldn't have been possible, because they were just that; personal. But at the time, they seemed insurmountable.

Even the odds of us actually getting a Drag Pak car were dramatically against us..... But somehow we got number 24!

So why not "dream big"? Drooze (Chris) is my son, and I hoped that I had taught him to never let disappointment drive his reality. Rather than dwell in it, use what you learn from it to build your bridge to success!

Together, we will do what we can, to do what can be done. And what can't be done; Pomona for example, will just have to wait.

But as Drooze has already done, I will now do again. It may be redundant, but it is also heartfelt!

THANKS to all who have been so helpful and encouraging.
