I haven't read all these many pages, so, this may have been answered, already, but forgive me if it has, please.
Somebody used to run a Stocker with the name "AFTER YOU" on the side of the car. That sounded like the punch line to an interesting back-story, but I never heard the particulars... Anybody remember that car? It raced for a long time...... It would be nice to know "After WHO?" Then again, some things are better left unsaid, I guess... ![]()

I saw an IHRA super stock Nova named "Since You" in the eighties. It really did some nice wheelies.

In the late '60's, early '70's, dad had a '57 Chevy bracket car that was named, "GOLDDIGGER". I only have one picture of the car, and would have loved to see it in action.
Mike Town, and later Mick Lafferty, use to own our Monte. They use to call the car "CHRISTINE" because it had a mind of its own. Fortunately, dad has tamed the car considerably, and the name has since been forgotten!

Tri-City Dragway,Saginaw Mi. back in the mid 70's I had a 63 Chevy II D/A called "Dueces Wild" and then bought the "Get Down" A/SM Camaro from Doc Watson. Then there was the still famous 69 Hurst Scrambler"Nasty Nash" owned by Butch LaVictoire and my buddy Dale Mudd owned the 68 Camaro called "Clockwork Camaro" And then the boys from Saginaw had Thunder Rat,Sugar Rat and Justifiable Homicide to name a few.
