Very mild combo! I hope it runs in the 13's. It ran 12.88 @ 104 in dad's 67 camaro with a 750 double pumper a 9" 4200 converter & 4.11 gears.

Greg,
Put the 2 1/2" on it you don't need the aggervation and expence of the 3". I have the same exhaust on my 70 nova with the dumps right at the rearend. It can get really loud and resinate real bad at certain RPM's. One other thing if you sit in traffic, which I do at times the exhaust will fill up under the car and it will start to come inside the car. If I did it again I would run the exhaust to the bumper or at least behind the tire. This is just what has happened to me. I drive my car more than I have a chance to race it. If you really want to test it out. When you get your exhaust finished, put a fitting for a pressure guage in fron of the muffler, make a run and at WOT look at the guage, if it is like 5psi or more you need a bigger exhaust.....Just a thought. I would like to see what that converter you have stalls at on the footbrake, when you get it running. Good Luck looks like a good combination. Robert |
