True,
They ran very low nines with cars that had super stock springs and shocks for a rear suspension. In 1965 Sox ran a 9.44 at 145mph in an altered wheel base 1965 Ply. with an injected hemi and a 4 speed with the only modification being every other tooth grinded off the syncro's. Try that on skinny tires! JimR
