Is it legal to have an intake manifold "coated" for the sake of appearences. I want to have a cast iron intake sent to nitroplate for the black coating, but not sure if its "allowed" in stock.
Thanks, John Beasaw III '70 Chevelle "My Kid$ Tuition" |

Outside of intake should be ok. Inside is not.

Outside is ok. ...I have the top and bottom of my manifold coated . ....The biggest benefit is on the bottom from a thermal barrier coat. ..... make sure what Nitroplate is offering is a thermal barrier ,not just a protective coating. ........Tom
