My car always runs faster when it's cool out, just as everyones does. Here in Buffalo, it's going to be 85-88 degrees this weekend, especially on Friday (race night). also everyone knows that's gonna slow you down a little. Would it help to lean out the secondaries with different rods and a different hanger when it's hot, seeing it will run faster in the cool air that makes a leaner mixture?
