Default Allison Transynd

Has anyone tried putting the Allison Transynd in their auto trans? After researching different synthetic ATFs, I deciced on the Transynd and recently drain & filled my LeBaron's A413 with the stuff. Now it heats up more than I like. When cruising to work, the trans would get to 120F and maybe 140F on the freeway. Now it shoots up to 160F and climbs more while going only 65! I know that it's still in the "safe" temp zone, but I was planning a long trip soon and was hoping to enjoy the added benefits of a synthetic ATF, not have it overheat.

I used Transynd on my Duramax's Allison and had no problems. Did I mess up by putting it in a trans that wasn't really designed for it?

Thanks.
