Titan oil pump question

Guide calls for a Milodon 30401 which I have been using, 6qt pan with an 8 1/2" sump. I called Titan to inquire weather one of their sportsman series pump combos will properly fit this pan. I spoke with the owner who as it sounds recently purchased the company (1 1/2 years ago) but he wasn't sure if the pump would work without pan mods. Does anyone know if, in fact this pump pan combo will work? Thanks
