Mark,
I started out with a modified T-5 with every other tooth on the syncro removed. That was in 1997! It lasted 2 seasons until I got greedy with the clutch and killed it.

I think a lot of us started out with stock or modified T-5's, until it was too much of a performance and financial impact. I bought my first used G-Force GF5-R in 2007 and until I damaged 5th gear this year, its been bullet proof and well worth the expense.

The Bremer shifter has been out since last November. This shifter as stated would be fine for classes that require the Tremac trans and road racing, it would be a terrible investment for a S/SS car as the available gear ratios in the trans it was made for are not optimal.
