I talked to NHRA's Bruce Bachelder at PRI last year and posed that same question. I was told that it is legal to use for the older Drag Paks.
The 2015 Drag Paks come complete with a Strange 9 inch. From what I understand it's pretty much the same housing that is used in the COPO's. Funny you bring that up. I just put mine in yesterday.
