Cool question about '67 GTXs

Stopped by a local tire shop this morning to get my old ET Fronts swapped out and in one of the bays was a beautiful 67 "GTX". The reason I'm hesitant on whether it was real or a well done clone, is that when I looked inside, I saw a column shift Tourqeflite instead of the usual consoles I've seen the last 48 years since they were new. I'm no Mopar expert so I surrender to the masses here, and ask was a column shift available on these cars or did someone go to a lot of trouble and cover up a Sattelite? The white interior even had the GTX emblem between the back seats, and it seemed all the proper emblems and trim were on the exterior, which was burgundy. Overall, it was a gorgeous car and no,, I never looked under the hood. Thanks for any info.
