Default 70 maverick pro stock clone

Bought this car back in January out of Ely Nevada. Guy said he was told that it was a pro stocker back in the early 70s. Said it was a boss 429 four speed car, wich is totally possible considering it has all the right work done to it on the front end. Shock towers were cut out in favor of some fabricated ones and the cage is tied in to them. The steering box was recessed into the frame for clearance. Front cross member was trimmed and welded across the front end, and the master cylinder was relocated backwards up under the dash. The rear is a dana 60 and has ladder bars and coil springs. I'm having trouble finding history however. I know that it has spent its life in Nevada since 1992. I sanded on the doors to the first paint job. It is a very cool pearl blue over white and has orange stripes on the upper and lower body lines. The top comes to a point in front of the door handle. The bottom is about 6" wide just below the body line. Front edge of the door is yellow and I'm guessing the whole front end was too because under the black in the engine bay is yellow. Fenders are newer glass ones and only have the most recent paint on them. I didn't find much of any lettering on the car due to it being body worked and painted a couple of times. I did find owner driver Paul on the door just below the window. Nothing else as far as lettering. Any help on who may have built the car or the original owner "Paul" would be much appreciated. The guy I bought it from said it was from Salt Lake City but I've talked to a couple people who say they don't remember it. I do believe it spent all its life on the west side of the country though as it is rust free. Take a look and see if you can help. Thanks!, Chris
