Hemi racers Have a question

Im building a FED for bracket.Will have 526 hemi in it. I am looking into building a oil pan with side kickout.On bbc its worth 20 plus hp according to some very creditable folks.

Have been told does nothing on hemi becuse of it being skirted block. I can see the logic these opions are based on,but they are just that opions of folks who have not run hemi engine.

A friend suggested talking to some super stock racer ad get their input,so giv me some input.Even if negative input is welcomed.
