Who makes the best Timing chain?
A stretched chain caused a valve to drop??? Could explain how this happened as I have taken apart a lot of engines over the last 38 years with stretched out or worn out timing chains and gears but never seen dropped valve because of this.

I have seen many times where guys will use stock cam bearings where a performance cam bearing should be used,

Stock cam bearings used with high lift cams and springs with a lot of seat and over the nose pressure will tend to flatten the cam bearings causing the chain to be loose.

I use a lot Cloyes Hex-A-Just both BBC and SBC and so far no dropped valves LOL.
