What? : Midwest Super Comp Series at Earville IA Labor day Weekend
Parking is available any time during the week..
Saturday, September 1st - Time runs at 11a.m.& 12 noon, First round at 1p.m.
Sunday, September 2nd - Time runs at 10 a.m.& 11a.m., First round at 12 noon.
After the races on Saturday, there is a Brat cook-out supplied by the track and Dave McWilliams with Larry Wasiliewski supplying beer & pop. You are encouraged to bring a side dish or desert.
If you are planning to attend the NHRA Division 5 race the following weekend you can leave your trailer or tow rig at the track.
Why do I care? Well if you’re a Division 5 or Division 6 super Comp racer that didn’t go to Indy or heaven forbid, lost first or second round at Indy then your weekend doesn’t need to be over. Since you will headed west anyway why not stop at Earlville Saturday and Sunday and have two more shots at winning $1000? Note that the Topeka race will also finish up on Thursday at Earville with the scheduled Div 5 race to follow.
That’s 4 more chances to race in one week! And that’s not counting Indy!
You do not need to be a member to race with us just show up pay your track usage and entry fee and race!
What about the weather? Well as of Wednesday the 29th. thanks to Hurricane Isaac, the national weather service is predicting a 70% chance of heavy rain Saturday, 60% chance of heavy rain for Sunday at Indianapolis. For Earlville which is north and west of Indy, they are predicting for Saturday a 30% chance of thunderstorms. Partly Sunny, with a high near 84 and for Sunday: a slight chance of showers, Partly Sunny with a high near 82. The series will refund your entry fee(s) if the race or races are rained out, (RefundingThe track fees is the track business)
The Midwest Super Comp Series, Friends you haven’t met yet!
