Late model engines come from the factory with not only aluminum radiators but roller lifters. They may not be faster but they sure don't chew up camshafts. Therefore, all of us should be allowed roller lifters. That would not only save parts but could keep oil off the track when a cam fails and takes out the valvetrain and possibly the entire engine. That would also be a safety consideration.
I get sick of the safety issue getting thrown at everything. I'm sure it's worn thin with NHRA also.
