LS1 Trans Am vs. Formula
My question is why there are more Formulas used as opposed to Trans Am's. I understand that the Formula is lighter and it is available in a hardtop version but the Trans Am is able to run in D/SA where as the Formula isn't. The reason I ask is because I have a Trans Am and would like to make it into a stocker. I bracket raced it for a couple years and won a couple track championships with it. I'm thinking I could run C/SA(Ram Air) or D/SA (no Ram Air). I am new to classracer.com but I have learned more about class racing in the couple days I've been on the site than I probably could in a year without it.
