Cheetah E-shift problem

My 92 camaro has cheetah e-shift valve body and controller in it. It seems to be working correct sometimes then not work at all. Last night it worked on the burnout, but not going down the track. It displayed "no" on the display on the second pass ( i wasn't looking on the first pass). Last week it was working intermittently, but i thought it was a setting i had messed up. Messed with it and it worked the last 2 passes last weekend. Anyone with some experiece with these things, got any idea what's going on? I'd like to go bracket race it tonight, and sure wish that it would work
