"In order to answer some inquiries we have had regarding the season-ending World Finals Nitro Jam at Virginia Motorsports Park, here are the facts:

Friday is for the Tournament of Champions and Summit SuperSeries participants only. If a competitor is not in the TOC, then all they do is park on Friday. TOC & SSS participants race for the World Championships and get their trophies and money Friday night after Nitro Jam is over. The awards celebration is on site and is open to all.

Friday night there will be two rounds of the pro show.

Saturday and Sunday is an open Nitro Jam for all the normal national event classes and the VMP ET classes. It is open to anyone and everyone. Qualifying and first round of sportsman eliminations is on Saturday. The Summit Allstars race is also Saturday.

Saturday night there will be two rounds of the pro show.

Sunday is the conclusion of sportsman eliminations. Those that win on Sunday will be the first qualified competitors for the 2011 TOC.

Please ignore talk and rumors that only TOC participants can come to Virginia. This is simply not true! We welcome anyone and everyone to Virginia, but those that did not qualify for the TOC will simply be watching on Friday and they will get on the track Saturday and Sunday."
