Default Re: Pressure reg for q-jet

I was having trouble with a stumble off the line. I had a Holley Volu-max 250 and a common 2 port holley regulator. I talked to several people and they told me I needed more volume. It showed on the RacePak in was dropping down to less than 2lbs on the launch.
I bought an Aeromotive a1000 and regulator, changed the fuel lines to eliminate every bend I could. Nothing changed, still stumbled and dropped on the launch. Robin Brown told me the same thing on his car. Spent mucho $$$ and still had the same issues with no increase in et.
After arguing with DeanO for months, he suggested that maybe the laws of physics are different under the hood of my car. He was right all along, they arent. I started listening and the results were as he said. We lowered the pressure and this corrected the issue. 6.5 to 7lbs for me, no more "high pressure" stuff.
