8:40 index in mexico

I run in Mexico in a class called Pro Comp. the index is 8.40 in these class you run in ex. pro stock cars currently I run a JBRC Grand Am with a 632 engine, powerglide trany, and almost all tracks in Mexico are bad. My questions are:
- what gear and tire size should I use for my car to be consistant, and what wheather station and software do you all recomend. Iam also using a TS6 throttle stop with a CC3 box do you all think that these throttle stop and box are good? Or also what do you recomend for these setup?
