sherman lifter help

I had the same trouble. As you bumping the motor over the things building pressure and pumping up the lifters. "Set it like a solid" now becomes pretty hard when things are moving around. I got mad and started setting them at .010 and or .015. When you run the motor over 3-4 revolutions it would close up and have like .005. Loose or tight did nothing for ET at all for me anyways. But im running another set this year and will be "setting them like a solid" again.
