that statement makes me think you may be a bracket racer who just happens to run a class car. Not that there is anything wrong with that. However there are alot of people who take pride in being at the top of the sheet, or at least trying to be. As much as some would like it to be "just a shoe polish race", its not to many people. That's also the same place alot of the sentiment comes from about the crate motors. I'm only 31, but i was brought up around stock and superstock and I wish i had been around "bac when stock was stock" and there was no shoe polish
