Does NHRA have a list of the altitude of all of their divisional/national event tracks?Any help would be appreciated.

I'm not looking for the correction factors,I want the track elevations.Looking for Div. 1 tracks mostly.The track websites for Lebanon and Cecil are the only 2 that I've found so far.None of the others have the info on their websites.

ED , One thing for sure is they're all under 1200' if they're not on that list.
Some of the tracks have their altitude listed on their websites.
The old Dragstrip Guides usually had it listed,too.

Mark;
I checked the websites.Like I said LV and Cecil were the only ones with their elevations.Cecil was +320 and LV +603.I know Englishtown is near sea level.I need the info for a new weather station for next year.
I'm gonna get this car figured out if it kills me.

Ed - Check out www.whowon.com. On the left side in the middle of the home page there's a brown "track directory" box. I picked several different tracks at random and they all showed elevation in the "notes" field. Don't know how accurate, but maybe better than nothing. Hope this helps.

Ed,

Download Google Earth (available online as a freebie) and type in the address of the track (or any address).

If you select the correct set of choices under the "Layers" menu, you'll be visually transported to the site and the elevation of that spot on the surface will be displayed. I just checked Maple Grove and Google Earth said that the starting line is 519 feet above sea level. Does that sound about right?

The same tool indicated that the starting line at Las Vegas was 2003 feet while the starting line at Pomona is indicated at 1033 feet.

I'm sure that more accurate elevation data is available somewhere on the Internet but those numbers work pretty well for me.

The NHRA Fan Guide lists elevation for Nat. Event Tracks. That will give You E Town, M Grove & VMP Atco should be close to E town.
