Patsy ask me to thank everyone for the thoughts and prayers. She is very weak and it is going to be a long road to recovery. The next three months will be spent in physical recovery. We feel fortunate that the rehabilitation center is only 20 minutes away so I can help her as much as I can. We worked very hard to have a good racing season to only have one bad run for the year.
The rest of our time will be spent on Patsy getting back to normal and me thinking of ways to make the car better. More later |

Yesterday she was able to sit in a wheelchair and eat a few bites of lunch. Another step on the way to recovery. It is one small victory while we work on the next step.

They installed a trapeze over her head to give her right arm a little workout but more importantly get herself rearranged in the bed to be comfortable. She said the food is good to OK and I am almost caught up on the laundry. I have not touched the car and still don?t know why it quit running.
And a big thank you for all prayers and kind thoughts. Got to go the dryer just went off. |
