Default Howard John Keihn

John Keihn passed away Sunday 04-28-2024 morning at his home under hospice care. It was an honor and privilege to have had the opportunity to share his racing career with him.In 2008 John won the Division 3 Stock Eliminator points championship. He proudly carried the #31 in 2009 and attended several NHRA divisional points races and national events. Having the drive to compete on this level is a unique gift that requires the support of fellow racers and family at home that understand the passion he had. Attending the Summit Equipment Nationals in 2009, John scored a class win, celebrated his birthday, and received a heart warming phone call from his wife "wishing him the best". The lengthy conversations on the road with John will always be cherished as he shared with several of his close friends. Rest In Peace ! GOD SPEED !

John was a great racer. Nobody did more with less than him or worked harder at it. It seemed he always had a new racing project in the works. He was always consistent on the tree, and a good dialer. That earned him the Division 3 Stock Championship in 2008. I will miss visiting with him at the Div. 3 races. RIP John.
