Mike Withers' car in WV is about it. He ran a lot of IHRA, I think it has been a couple years since it was last out. Also one in Europe being raced.

Other than that, a few occasionally are run at Nostalgia races, I know of one that was bracket raced in Ohio up to recently.

Larry and Shirley Jewell's 66 Corvette. I hope Jeffrey will read this and correctly tell the story.

Pretty sure Ellroy Dames is also a A12 car.

D3's Garrett Ghezzi's is one of the originals, pretty sure A.H Adkins too.

I honestly forgot about Ghezzi's car...it was the prototype for those cars, but it is not tagged as one by the factory. Arguably the most value AMC in existence.

Can't disagree there. Its off the charts on the coolness scale.

We could likely start an additional thread on the super rare prototype and pilot vehicles in stock and superstock.

My dakota is a 1992 Pilot vehicle, which makes it unique all on its own, might explain why with just a mild motor its such a ariel exihibitionist!

I believe Greg Gay's GT/LA Mirada is a factory mule with no VIN. Maybe he'll chime in and elaborate. Lots of interesting stories in the naked city...

My Dad took delivery of his current SS/DA Corvette on January 2nd 1966. It's an original '66 427/425 4-speed convertible. He still has the window sticker. He was planning on ordering it with a 327 as the 396/425 engine wasn't much better than the 327 in '65. Dealer talked my Dad into the "new" 427. Dad figured he'd swap in a 327 if it didn't run well. Car has never had anything but a 427 in it since...

My parents drove the car to Key West Florida on their honeymoon later in 1966. It was a street / strip car until the mid 70s when he converted it to a '67 427/400 Tri-power to run SS/EA (couldn't run an auto with the big block as a '66). Car still has the 1975 inspection sticker on the windshield.

Dad and the 'Bullet" still have it as he recently won the LODRS at Maple Grove a few weeks back.
