Can anyone recommend a heads company to do super stock cylinder heads for a 1985 ford mustang? 60217 edlebrock, etc. Thanks Larry

Wes King has done these. Do bear in mind that these heads come with too large of valves, the process of welding them up and installing the smaller valve seats is no minor undertaking.

Please be careful here. Like Jim mentioned a lot of the aftermarket heads listed as "legal" by NHRA for Super Stock ship with valves larger than stock. I have a set of AFR 1399 heads on a shelf. They are listed as legal in the Classification Guide but ship with larger than stock intake valves. The work required to fix that is costly and destroys the advantage of head. They shouldn't be listed as legal. They aren't.

Thanks for the info, that's what I really wanted to know. It's a long time since I have been on track, but still have been close to action. Again, Thanks
