Default Slicks/tubes

I'm going to buy some new tires soon. My question is what is your opinion on tubes? My tires 14/32's did not have any when I bought the car. I ran it this year with no problems(I had a TON of problems this year but not tires) When you look at the tires in summit/jegs Goodyear, Hoosier, M/T say tubes required. What do you think?

I don't know of anyone in S or SS who runs tubes..... don't worry about what the catalogs say.

Wink Re: Slicks/tubes

the only thing I would do is take dishwashing liquid & wipe them down inside before mounting.

Smile Re: Slicks/tubes

The soap swells the pores on the inside of the tire and seals it , we use PALMOLIVE green if you can find it , use a sponge and coat the inside of the tire before you have them mounted
