I recently saw an in car video of a SS car. I noticed when staging he had a light on the dash that would come on as he pumped the brakes while staging. Anyone use this? What switch and what pressure is it set to?

It probably comes on when brake pressure meets the preset amount needed to activate the 2 step. Folk race cars has a brake pressure switch , called Answer, used for activation of a 2 step. The switch is adjustable pressure wise . So it depends on how high you set it .

I've got a preset switch that activates my 2 step. I saw the light and figured it was on an adjustable switch. The light is a good idea instead of looking at a gauge, just wondering what pressure it would be set at.

I put "The Answer" switch on a fellow racer's Stocker a few years back with the light and his car already had a brake pressure gauge. I would assume the pressure would vary depending on the brake type and master cylinder bore size, but his car would hold good at 800psi and you didn't have to push that hard on the pedal. It had Mark Williams 4-wheel discs w/ dual calipers on the rear.

I run a light in my car, so i know that i am pushing brake pedal hard enough, to activate the 2 step, works great no guessing.
