As tomorrow is the official Full Panic Mode for Bowling Green and Indy, it's time to take care of the social agenda for the A/S Shoot Out Celebration. I have of course my now non-rookie assistants to take care of Social Agenda, Inventory Control, Security, Wine Merchant, and I'm not sure what else. My good friend Jim Kraus is on line as he is the Supremeo Social Promotion Controller. I have had a custom mini-Cajun Pirogue (special Cajun flat boat) which in real life these vessels have served as a serving for beverages. It's a mini, so it will hold about 5 cases, but it's real nice. I anticipate several people and the businesses they represent will come forward with food, drink, etc. Jeg's is the title sponsor and will provide the clean trash can liners to put the beverages and beverages to put in the clean Jeg's trash can liners , but I am looking for several associates. I thank all the people who have volunteered prizes and money for the Shoot Out winners and runner ups. Southland Dodge will participate, but it's too early to announce. It has ususally been on Friday night after the dredded barn for Stock, but when we get a idea of the Factory Car shootout, we can firm up. My good friend James is really in change, but I am trying to fill in for our Missing Man Scott Helms who worked on this at each event. More as it unfolds.

More SCHWAG for the A Stick Racers!
Rob Youngblood with Advanced Clutch is offering a gift certificate for the finalists of the A Stick Challenge! 250 for the winner and 100 runner up. Must be sporting his contingency sticker! And!!! To sweeten the deal, he is throwing in a new clutch alignment tool for the winner AND the runner up! Once I saw a picture, a price and the fact that you could interchange pilot sizes, I ordered one for myself! Very Nice! Thanks again from long time stick racer and supporter Rob Youngblood and Advanced Clutches!

John and Debbie Calvert of CalTrac fame are supporting the A Stick and A/SA Challenge!
Finalists will receive money and a cool Calvert Racing Shirt! Once again, the tremendous support is appreciated! We as racers need to remember those that support us when we need to make purchases and ned service. We have a voice if we chose to use it!

Ordered the Koozies for the A/S Shootout today, red with bright yellow or maybe loud green printing to go with the red. I haven't posted yet, but I'm still thinking about something unusual, but I don't know yet.

PAC Racing Springs are in to support the AStick and A/SA Challenge again this year!
Here is the deal.... Winners of A/Stick and A/SA will each get a gift certificate good for 250 dollars at jobber pricing for PAC Racing products purchased through PAC. If the winners use PAC products on the winning car and display their decal, they will receive a BONUS certificate for and additional 100 dollars on top of the 250! Runner ups in each class will receive a certificate in the amount of 150! PAC has a great variety of springs. Valve springs of course, but also suspension and other springs. I personally use PAC springs and work with them often. They make most of the springs that PRO Teams use, but they work with us sportsman racers too! Their RPM series is well suited for the abuse we give them in Stock, Superstock and Comp. As an example, I recently tested an enhanced design of their awesome 1409 beehive spring. It is a beehive like the 1409, but it has about 30 more lbs and the same spring rate. So for example, if a 1409 has 190 and 390 on pressure, the 1409x will have 220 and 420 at the same pressure. This spring also has more post production finishing and has a silver finish. The reason I bring it up is that it highlights the fact that PAC developed this spring in response to sportsman racer requests. They listen to the little guy and make us some great stuff! If you want to know more about this spring, you can contact me for more details, because it is not in the catalog yet, but I do have a link to their website. If you have not been there, check it out! http://www.racingsprings.com/
