Appears to be a well kept secret... Crane has hundreds of profiles, they're just not in any catalog. Ask for Bob Stratman.

Only Billy Godbold at Comp Cams and Don Walthall at Bullet have actually done any recent design work on Stock Eliminator cams that I know of. I don't know that Crane or Lunati have any Stock Eliminator designs that are not quite a few years old.

There are some other people, both known and "unknown", doing some design work, including the designer at LSM, and a few others, mostly people who own their own company and their own design software.

The problem is that Stock Eliminator is a very small and well defined market, you're not going to see too many companies willing to invest in that market.

If you run something oddball like I do, Bullet is probably your best bet. Non of the other guys seemed the least bit interested. The nice thing is the first cam they sent me worked.

I spoke to Chris Padgett at CompCam and had no difficulty getting a cam that "works" in my 'wagon. He asked all the right questions. I would not hesitate to call him again if I needed another camshaft.
