Re: "Live" from our Southwestern Swing
Cotten!!! A whole field of it! And this was our first casualty of the trip! The tread came off the trailer tire and blew out. We didn't know it when it happened. A nice guy passed us and kept pointing. He pulled over when we did and came back and said he thought our trailer was on fire! Thank goodness it was only the tire! So by the time Larry changed the tire and then we stopped in Springfield, MO and bought 2 more (just in case), we lost a couple of hours today. Hopefully tomorrow will go better and I will get some shots at the racetrack for you. Oh, we passed a little convenience store that it looks like Bo Kenney might own. It was called the "Kum and Go"! |

Re: "Live" from our Southwestern Swing
Well we are back on the road this morning. A beautiful blue sky, a little windy, trees are starting to turn color. I missed the "Welcome to OK" sign while I was looking up something on the computer. Oh well, there will be other states! We are on the Will Rogers Turnpike, but we didn't see the humor in the $16.50 toll! Well more later.

Joe you are right. I should have said breakfast. We had some really good meals in Vegas and Pomona and can't wait to go again next year. Larry and Patsy your pictures are great and makes us feel as if we are there again
