Pontiac Combo's
Which Pontiac combo appears to be the best option?

Re: Pontiac Combo's
Are the early '60's 421 cars viable?

Re: Pontiac Combo's
Small Valve engines, 18 degree valve angle, no approval on aftermarket head castings like other brands, overly rated HP, very small hand out from the intake runner NHRA CC fairy, take tons of cash.....pretty normal.
Agree, best combo for stock and maybe even SS is the 301 Turbo. Probably even can drive it to the race.

Re: Pontiac Combo's
How about the 67 400 combo? I know it is a one off year for the 670 heads and intake...
I have my 67 Firebird ragtop set up with a ZZ4 IHRA crate motor now, but would really like to make my Pontiac a Pontiac again! I have some parts - block, heads, intake, etc. but time and money... did I say money, are slowing the process. Anyone want to help a fellow Pontiac racer? Seriously, would appreciate feedback on this combo. Only one I see running right now is Bo Butner in a coupe, and it is pretty fast, but Bo has enough money to make anything fast! thanks, Ken |

Re: Pontiac Combo's
Johnny send me a PM with asking price, pics, and details.
Ken, were you pitted next to me at Shreveport in the white Pontiac ragtop?
