Can someone with a stock A-body Mopar measure and tell me the distance from the crank centerline to the top of the k-member.
Thanks

Stewart, I can get you a close number as there are a lot of variables. It is 3.7 to 3.8 inches from the crank centerline to the bottom of the front section of the oil pan (before the center sump) Then you will normally see 2 to 3 1/2 inches between the bottom of the pan and top of the k-frame. It depends on the year model as they changed the mounts in 73 and also if the rubber mounts are collapsed. Of course these figures are for a stock "unprepared" car and a 340 engine.
